In June 2002, with the announcement that Caravan would be playing a rare US concert, the scramble for tickets was on. This was classic Caravan featuring founder members Pye Hastings, Richard Coughlan and David Sinclair, together with Caravan stalwart of 40 years, Geoffrey Richardson, on viola and flute. Not surprisingly, all 2000 tickets for The Patriots Theater sold out in just 45 minutes, and the stage was set for a monumental night.

Caravan wanted to have that landmark show filmed and recorded for posterity. Fortunately the team at Stratford Copyright agreed to record the gig for an official, authorised album and film release. On 8th July 2002 Veteran leader Pye Hastings was the first to sign the contract, followed by the other members of Caravan.

This official recording was enthusiastically authorised and warranted by all seven of the members of Caravan for release on CD, DVD, Television and Vinyl.

For this rare US foray, the seven piece version of Caravan were on fire. This is Caravan at their very best - a true master class from the aristocracy of British rock.

Never before released on vinyl, this official fully authorised recording of Caravan is essential listening for every Caravan fan on the planet.
