The classic line up of the Clash performed together for five years from 1977 to 1982 and featured lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Joe Strummer, lead guitarist and vocalist Mick Jones, bassist Paul Simonon and drummer Nicky 'Topper' Headon.
Sandinista! was the fourth studio album by the Clash. It was released on 12 December 1980. This sprawling triple album features funk, reggae, jazz, gospel, rockabilly, folk, dub, rhythm and blues, calypso, disco, and rap.
Radio Clash From Tokyo is the legendary live broadcast from the Nakano Sun Plaza, Tokyo on 28th January 1982. It features Police on My Back and Charlie Don't Surf from the Sandinista album.
Featuring Cover Illustrations by Ray Lowry - The Official Clash 'War Artist', who toured with The Clash and sketched them on stage and in rehearsal.
